Puppy Class includes teaching: sit, down, coming when called and loose leash walking. In addition, puppy class also focuses on bite inhibition, self-control exercises, teething and appropriate greeting of people (no jumping).
Basic Obedience covers: sit, down, stay with duration and distance, coming when called, heeling and “leave it.” In addition, we cover appropriate greeting of people (no jumping). Time is always allowed to cover topics not listed here.

BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASSES

These classes are for all dogs 6 months of age or older.
First night is an orientation, without dogs, and this orientation will run 6:00-7:00.

A new course begins every 7th week, barring any unforeseen postponements.
Pre-registration with a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee a spot.
Registration is completed at the first night’s orientation (without dogs) with a review of protocol and other important information.
Participation is limited to 6 teams per class. Make-up classes cannot be guaranteed.
